The SRRC offers many ways to GET INvolved with your community! We are looking for ready, resolute, and reliable volunteers like you! Our volunteers are the key to helping our STUDENT-RUN center to strive for educational equity. We need your help to make sure higher education is possible for EVERYONE!

The best way to get your feet wet at the center is to help out as a READY Volunteer whenever you can. If you have a few hours to spare this quarter and want to do something meaningful, then you are a perfect fit for the first level of SRRC VIP. To join simply attend a VIP orientation, complete a registration form, and you’ll be added to our on-call volunteer database. We will keep you informed of the myriad of opportunities to GET INvolved with the center through our website, our quarterly newsletter and email. Or if you come across an activity that interests you, you can contact us and we’ll put your skills to good use!
QUARTERLY COMMITMENT = 2 – 15 hours
- Attend a VIP orientation, Maintain a 2.0 GPA
- Register with Ready Volunteer database
- Work on-call 1 –10 hours per quarter
- Have fun!

Is there one particular program or event that really excites you? Do you want to learn more about the center and how we address issues of social justice, like educational equity? Well, then you are just the type of student we need to make the commitment to the next level of SRRC VIP. SET Volunteers are folks who are truly ready to learn about the SRRC and are willing commit to working with a specific project or program. To become a SET Volunteer simply attend a VIP orientation, register with a project or program and we’ll assign you a project coordinator who will get you started!
QUARTERLY COMMITMENT = 15+ hours
- Attend a VIP orientation, Maintain a 2.0 GPA
- Register with a program or project
- Participate in 4 hours @ Studypalooza, & 1/2 hour of supervision
- Attend 1 SRRC event
- Work an additional 10 - 15 hours per quarter (DOES NOT include above required hours)
- Have fun!

Whether you are just eager to jump right in, or you have tried the other levels of the SRRC VIP and are looking for more…. GO is the ultimate way to GET IN at the SRRC! GO Volunteers are students who are looking to serve as interns for our project coordinators. GO Volunteers have some basic knowledge of the SRRC, social justice and are looking for in-depth project experience. Once selected, GO Volunteers make a 2 quarter commitment to the SRRC and receive course units and/or transcript notation. If you think you’ve got what it takes to GET IN and GO SRRC VIP, then attend an orientation, complete your application NOW!
QUARTERLY COMMITMENT = 40 hours
- Apply for internship
- Attend a VIP orientation, Maintain a 2.0 GPA
- Participate in 4 hours @ Studypalooza, & 1 hour of supervision
- Attend 1 SRRC in-service
- Work 40 hours per quarter (2 quarter commitment required)
- Complete 4 week program rotation schedule
- Have fun!
